Pam is the primary instructor and curriculum designer of the Pet Massage coursework at the Companion Animal Career Institute (CACI) located in Chicago, IL

 

Introduction to Pet Massage

This is the initial course to receive a certificate of program completion as a certified pet massage therapist. Topics include the benefits of massage, the basics of how to approach and work with animals, learning how to use one's hands as a tool and some basic massage techniques.

Class Schedule:

10 weeks
Wednesdays, starting September 16th, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Cost: $500 + cost of books

Companion Animal Career Institute

provides animal lovers an opportunity to pursue their career dreams of working with and enriching the lives of animals OR simply to learn much more about their pets.

CACI is unique in that it is affiliated and housed with DoGone Fun, a large total care dog facility, in the south loop of Chicago. Students, therefore, have daily hands-on experience and interaction with all tyeps of breeds. Our highly experienced instructors excel in teaching not only theoretical knowledge, but in demonstrating correct skills with the dogs in our care.

Your learning experience

will consist of classroom lectures, demonstrations, video presentations, and supervised hands-on training throughout the day. Instructors will work with you one-on-one to discuss progress and coach you to achieve success.
